1st, 2nd and 3rd SHIFTS AVAILABLE!!
Libertyville, IL area $11.25 per hour (plus shift differential)
Most positions are Temp-to-Hire
SelectRemedy is currently hiring for semi-experienced Machine Operators for multiple companies in the Libertyville, IL area!
Interested candidates must have previous machine operator experience in a manufacturing environment: (Brake Press/Shear and/or Punch Press preferred, but not necessarily required if other experience is parallel!). Resume required for consideration.
Responsibilities may include, but are not limited to:
Retrieve Job Specifications from orders and schedules and set up machine for operation in accordance with the production schedule. - Set-up settings from specs for initial set up and then adjust as required to meet product specifications.
Retrieve material from storage area and install onto machine for processing.
Update daily production paperwork with required information as per specified procedures.
Complete Start Up Check List for new items.
If continuing current product, continue QC checks at the completion of the next set as per routine production procedures.
Accurately record data for each completed set on daily production paperwork.
Move non-conformed material from production to reject area.
Complete current material order as indicated on the daily production schedule and move to the next item as indicated.
Communicate effectively with other machine operators concerning order status and machine performance.
Maintain good communication with supervisor and QC technician.
Make recommendations for improvements and notify supervisor of any problems.
Contribute to team atmosphere.
Understand company policies on safety and correct unsafe working conditions.
Work Environment:
This position functions within a metal fabrication environment. Position may at times be exposed to extremes in temperature and noise. Position must observe safety and security precautions and become familiar with procedures to follow if problems should arise.
Physical Demands:
Must be able to occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. Able to walk and stand for long periods of time. Must be able to safely operate required equipment for performing job functions.
