This position is a key patient care role that interacts with patient, audiologist, and receptionist to ensure that a patient's needs are properly met and managed.

The Audiology Assistant can be a training position to become a licensed hearing aid dispenser and be promoted within the practice.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND
Responsibilities:
Audiological:
Fix in-office repairs and modifications.
Perform hearing aid checks and cleanings.
Make follow-up phone call to patients.
Demonstrate assistive listening devices.
Organizational:
Maintain inventory and ordering functions.
Complete office and management paperwork.
Submit audiology report to management.
Clean and organize exam rooms.
Clean tympanometry tips, and other reusable parts.
Check and maintain test booths.
Maintain stock of critical components and supplies.
Complete repair/order forms for hearing aids and ear molds and prepare for shipping.
Phone Follow up via phone with inactive patients Respond to patient questions regarding hearing aid or general Audiology questions.
Other phone duties as requested.
Educational and Job-related requirements High school diploma, Associates Degree - 60 credit hours Hearing Aid, Dental or Vision industry experience is preferred 3 years minimum experience in technical or office environment Job Type:

$35,000.
