We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced IS Quality Assurance Manager join our organization.
As an IS Quality Assurance Manager, you will be responsible for leading and managing the quality assurance processes and activities within our IS department.
Your primary objective will be to ensure that our software systems and applications meet the highest quality standards, comply with regulatory requirements, and meet the needs of our users.
This is a crucial role that requires a strong technical background, exceptional leadership skills, and a keen eye for detail.
Responsibilities:
1.
Quality Assurance Strategy and Planning:
oDevelop and implement a comprehensive quality assurance strategy, policies, and procedures to ensure the effective testing and validation of software systems.
oCollaborate with stakeholders, managers, and development teams to define quality standards, goals, and objectives.
oPlan, schedule, and coordinate quality assurance activities across multiple projects.

Quality Assurance Process Management:
oDefine and establish testing methodologies, tools, and frameworks to ensure efficient and effective testing processes.
oDesign, develop, and maintain test plans, test cases, and test scripts.
oConduct thorough analysis of requirements, user stories, and technical specifications to ensure test coverage and traceability.

Test Execution and Defect Management:
oLead and supervise a team of quality assurance professionals, providing guidance, mentorship, and performance management.
oCoordinate and oversee the execution of test cases, including functional, regression, integration, and performance testing.
oMonitor and track defects, issues, and risks, ensuring timely resolution and appropriate escalation.

Test Automation and Continuous Improvement:
oIdentify opportunities for test automation and lead the implementation of automated testing frameworks and tools.
oDrive continuous improvement initiatives in quality assurance processes, methodologies, and tools.
oStay up-to-date with industry best practices, emerging trends, and technologies related to quality assurance and software testing.

Collaboration and Communication:
oFoster effective collaboration and communication between the quality assurance team, development teams, project managers, and stakeholders.
oProvide regular status reports, metrics, and updates on quality assurance activities to senior management and other relevant stakeholders.
oAct as a subject matter expert and provide guidance and support to other teams regarding quality assurance best practices.
Requirements:
oBachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, or a related field.
A master's degree is a plus.
oProven experience as an IS Quality Assurance Manager or in a similar role, with a track record of successful delivery of high-quality software projects.
oStrong knowledge of quality assurance methodologies, processes, and tools.
oProficiency in test management and defect tracking tools.
oExperience with test automation tools and frameworks.
oSolid understanding of software development life cycle (SDLC) and Agile methodologies.
oExcellent leadership and people management skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team.
oExceptional analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.
oStrong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
oAttention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality results.
