This client is looking for a temp to hire Purchasing Agent.
This candidate is responsible for supporting various internal stakeholder groups, safety, quality, Research & Development, Regulatory and Procurement.
The position is responsible for maintaining stocks, managing inventory and coordinating replenishment of stocks with designated vendors.

Follows-up with vendors in a timely manner to resolve issues related to the purchasing of goods.
Makes certain that purchasing documents are completed properly and accurately.
Provides day-to-day assistance and clerical support to Purchasing Department staff.
Achieves assigned goals regarding inventory levels and inventory turns.
Attends meetings and participates in projects as required.
Maintains various excel-based reports and files.
Manages documents on department team sites.
Supports functional groups in projects as assigned.
Skills and Requirements 1-3 years of purchasing, customer service, planning, accounting, and office administrative work experience 2-3 years manufacturing experience Basic Excel skills a must and Advanced-level Excel skills a strong plus Computer skills with Microsoft Windows applications to include Word, Excel and Outlook.
