As the Manufacturing Engineering Supervisor, you will play a pivotal role in leading and overseeing the manufacturing engineering activities, ensuring the highest standards of quality, efficiency, and safety are upheld.
Key
Responsibilities:
Lead a team of talented manufacturing engineers to optimize processes and enhance productivity in the production of steel products.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement engineering solutions that drive continuous improvement in manufacturing processes.
Provide technical expertise and guidance to resolve complex manufacturing issues and ensure adherence to quality standards.
Develop and maintain manufacturing documentation, including standard operating procedures and work instructions.
Drive initiatives for cost reduction, waste elimination, and efficiency improvement to meet production goals.
Champion a culture of safety, ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations and promoting best practices in the workplace.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or related field.
Minimum of 5 years of experience in manufacturing engineering, preferably in the steel industry.
Proven leadership skills with the ability to motivate and develop a high-performing team.
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a focus on driving results.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across departments.
Knowledge of lean manufacturing principles and experience implementing continuous improvement initiatives is preferred.
