Application Architect
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
o Work collaboratively with the client's SOA Solutions Architect & App Architects to ensure integration designs operate within and comply with the client's enterprise SOA governance framework
o Mentor integration developers in integration best practices.
o Collaborate with multiple development teams and organizations to design integration solutions that meet their functional and delivery needs.
o Collaborate with infrastructure engineers and network engineers to assign with design, expansion and maintenance of integration infrastructure.
o Coordinate solutions for complex software development issues that arise.
o Understand the entire project context, and demonstrates the knowledge of end-to-end application architecture
o Design integration solutions that meet business functional and non-functional requirements.
o Design integration solutions that are feasible, secure, maintainable, extensible and meet any other design considerations.
o Drive service enablement of legacy products leading to greater reuse of key technology assets
o Provide input into and lead the technical infrastructure design.
o Build organizational capability through continuous improvement activities; originate action to improve existing conditions and processes; identify improvement opportunities, generate ideas, and implement solutions.
JOB QUALIFICATIONS
o 10
years of application analysis, design, development and maintenance experience
o Agile software development experience preferred
o Understand solid OO principles - strong exposure to object oriented design and development is required
o 7 or more years' experience in designing and developing enterprise level applications using .NET, C#, WCF and SOA
o Experience designing and developing C# based N-tier highly scalable web applications
o Well versed with XML/XSL, Web Services, SOA architecture, ESB, WCF, Team foundation server, SQL, C #, WCF, Visual Studio, Stored Procedures
o Strong experience applying Design Patterns
o Solid background in Designing & Implementing Applications using technologies defined by the Standard Enterprise Architecture
o Strong experience in analyzing and optimizing already deployed applications
o Strong knowledge and understanding of Web Service API's for integration purposes. Proficient knowledge of performance tuning Service Gateway/API exchange.
o Extensive knowledge and hands on experience designing and developing objects and components of relational database such as Oracle databases
o Proficient written and verbal communication skills using spoken English, including the ability to explain complex ideas to others with varying levels of expertise throughout the organization and with potential business partner
o Proficient knowledge of service design patterns, principles, and practices
o Demonstrated ability to develop and support scalable services technologies with strict SLA's and high throughput
Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
