General Manager, Continence & Critical Care

SUMMARY:

The General Manager Continence & Critical Care is responsible for the US CC/CRC business P&L, including establishing and achieving the sales, gross margin and consolidated contribution targets to meet the company objectives. Responsible for developing and implementing strategic sales and marketing plans based on company goals. The incumbent reports to the Vice President of North America and is a member of the senior leadership team for the business unit. The sales, marketing and clinical teams report to this position.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  1. Develop and Implement Business Strategies

    • Working closely with the Global CC/CRC Marketing Director, develop and execute strategies to grow the US CC/CRC business sustainably (product portfolio, go-to-market plan, marketing plans, market access, etc.)

    • Develop the resource and support structures around the strategy including both the human resource and financial areas

    • Active stakeholder in business development and strategic partnership opportunities. Ensure and provide a continuous monitoring and reviewing of all aspects of the company (Strategy, Finance, Sales, People, Market Environment)


  2. Business Unit Leadership

    • Responsible for the P&L and lead the commercial business

    • Oversee daily commercial operations for the business unit including CC/CRC Sales, Marketing, Clinical

    • Select, train and develop staff¬  as necessary to address the needs of the business unit

    • Coordinate the development of key performance goals for the functions within the business unit

    • Develop tactical programs to pursue targeted goals and objectives

    • Responsible for all sales and commercial excellence activities to achieve sales goals

    • Set priorities for and direct the activities of the sales, marketing and clinical teams; provides timely feedback on performance

    • Consistently demonstrate effective behaviors that support and personify the Company's mission, vision and values


  3. Communication and Market Orientation

    • Collaborate, influence and maintain a strong relationship with key accounts team (GPO, National & Regional health systems, channel, etc).

    • Responsible for on-going two way communications with customers, sales team, other company associates and with agencies and leaders outside the company that are key to success within the US Continence & Critical Care market

    • Responsible for continually updating personal and corporate knowledge related to customers and their needs, competitors, payers, and local government & regulatory bodies

REQUIREMENTS:

Experience:



  • Minimum 12 years overall experience is required

  • Minimum 12 years' Sales & Marketing experience in the healthcare industry, preferably in Continence & Critical Care


Education:



  • Bachelor's degree in business, marketing or related is required

  • Master's degree strongly preferred


Specialized Skills:



  • Management and leadership capabilities

  • Understanding of the Health care continuum selling process

  • Developing direct reports and others

  • Strong business acumen

  • Must have strong critical and strategic thinking skills with proven track record of delivering results

  • Must have strong results orientation and a proven track record of translating strategy into execution & results

  • Very high reasoning skills

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills along with strong presentation skills required

  • Ability to lead in a matrix organization

  • Strong project/program management skills

  • Strong team leadership skills required

  • Effective consultative and strategic selling experience strongly preferred

  • Financial/executive suite sales experience preferred

  • Ability to succeed with minimal supervision

  • Demonstrated strong self-initiative

  • Must have good computer skills, especially utilizing power point and excel

  • Reliable attendance and ability to travel (up to 50%) including weekends as necessary

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
