Summary:

Responsible for leadership, facilitation, analysis, and design of Hollister s enterprise application, infrastructure, and integrations. Ensure enterprise architecture is aligned with business and IT requirements and longer-term business strategies in the most cost-effective manner.


Responsibilities:

Technology

  • Oversee and carry out IT application and infrastructure evaluations and selections according to the defined technical review process. Coordinate solution feasibility studies and/or Proof of Concepts to facilitate evaluation as necessary.
  • Stay abreast of IT enterprise technologies and advances and advise on how they can best be leveraged to drive business outcomes.
  • Identify the organizational impact (for example, on skills, processes, structures and culture) and financial impact of the infrastructure architecture. Assists in development of resource and financial plans to support architecture.

Cloud

  • Develop and maintain cloud adoption plans, cloud application design as well as cloud management and monitoring strategies.
  • Draw on solid knowledge of Hollister s cloud architecture and platform to design and develop dynamic cloud solutions.
  • Provide all necessary assistance in articulating where cloud services fit in best.

Standards and Designs

  • Create infrastructure and application standards that align with industry best practices and applicable security requirements.
  • Develop IT enterprise roadmaps to ensure the environment supports future business needs.
  • Analyze enterprise business context (trends and business strategy) to derive infrastructure architecture.

Cost Optimization

  • Drive out cost & complexity from IT solutions.

Networking

  • Partner with inside and outside experts to bring proven and tested architectures into Hollister.
  • Maintains relationships with key vendors and suppliers.

Partnering

  • Partner with Business Units and Corporate Functions, articulate IT value, and inspire trust.
  • Be a positive advocate for the enterprise architecture process, its outcome and ongoing results.
  • Consult on application or infrastructure development projects to fit systems, data or infrastructure to the Hollister landscape, and identify when it is necessary to modify the landscape to accommodate project needs.

Cyber Security and Compliance

  • Partner with Hollister Cyber Security to ensure IT solutions comply with applicable regulations and data privacy requirements (e.g. data retention, audit requirements, data privacy/GDPR, EU MDR, FDA).

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, systems analysis or a related study, or equivalent experience is required.
  • Azure, Microsoft, and VMware certification a plus.
  • 8
    years of experience in Information Technology with progressively increasing responsibilities.
  • 8
    years of experience in infrastructure systems design, implementation, and on-going support.
  • In-depth experience designing, implementing, and supporting complex highly available infrastructure solutions.
  • Experience with architecting solution in Microsoft s Cloud(Office 365, Azure)
  • SAP experience preferred
  • Experience with validation in a medical device field preferred
  • Knowledgeable in the design and construction of enterprise architectures that enable well-integrated transactional, collaborative, resilient and efficient systems.
  • Experience with selecting and applying technologies bringing about positive business outcomes
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills in areas such as teamwork, facilitation and influencing.
  • Demonstrates resourcefulness and creativity in solving architecture related challenges.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Excellent planning and organizational skills.

  • Experience with cloud technologies:
    SaaS, IaaS, PaaS, cloud and hybrid cloud solutions.
  • Understanding of security by design concepts and how to integrate security into infrastructure to protect information
  • Ability to effectively adapt to rapidly changing technology and apply it to business needs.
  • Ability to establish and maintain a high level of customer trust and confidence.
  • Strong analytical and conceptual skills; ability to create original concepts/theories for a variety of stakeholders.
  • Ability to analyze project, program and portfolio needs, as well as determine resources needed to meet objectives and solve problems that involve remote and elusive symptoms, often spanning multiple environments in a business area.
  • Experience with various information modeling techniques (e.g. data flow diagrams, entity-relationship diagrams).
  • Basic knowledge of financial models and budgeting including ability to estimate the financial impact of technical architecture alternatives.
  • Ability to understand the long-term (big picture) and short-term perspectives of situations.
  • Must be able to speak/write in English.
  • Potential to travel Internationally & Domestic 5% of the time.
